Terms and Conditions
1. Introduction
These Terms and Conditions govern the provision of tutoring services by MattWallMaths (“we”, “our”, “us”) to clients (“you”, “your”). By booking lessons with us, you agree to these Terms.
2. Services Provided
We offer one-to-one tutoring in Mathematics at GCSE, A-Level, and University Applicant level, all lessons are online. Full details of services are provided on our website.
3. Lessons, Bookings & Credits
Lessons are booked in advance either individually or through lesson bundles (“credits”).
Credits are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
Lessons are subject to availability and must be arranged in advance.
- After purchase of credits we will contact you for lesson arrangement.
4. Payments
Payment is taken via our website using secure third-party processors (Stripe).
Lessons and bundles must be paid for before the session takes place and fully at time of purchase.
5. Cancellations & Rescheduling
Lessons can be rescheduled or cancelled up to 24 hours before the scheduled start time at no cost.
Cancellations made within 24 hours will be charged in full and the credit deducted.
If the tutor needs to cancel, a replacement session will be arranged at no extra cost.
6. Lateness
If a student is late, we reserve the right to finish at the scheduled time.
If the tutor is late, the time will be made up or discounted accordingly.
7. Refunds
Refunds for unused lesson credits may be offered at our discretion.
No refunds will be provided for missed or late-cancelled lessons.
8. Student Responsibilities
Students are expected to arrive prepared, with relevant materials and a stable internet connection for online lessons.
Respectful behaviour is required at all times.
9. Privacy & Data Protection
We handle personal data in accordance with GDPR. Information provided will only be used for the purpose of delivering tutoring services.
10. Liability
Tutoring is intended to support academic development but does not guarantee specific grades or outcomes. We are not liable for exam results, university admissions outcomes, or technical issues outside our control.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
